My introduction to IBM's midrange series of systems was back in 1990 as an IBM S/38 operator. Before the close of 1990 I was working on an AS/400 E60. Today, we have the 'black box' i5 iSeries, and as the machine has evolved, so have my roles and experience. My most prominent and rewarding assignment to date was participating in a telco billing system installation project at diAx Telecommunications (now merged with Sunrise) in Switzerland. Other previous clients of note include CitiFinancial, KLM, Smith & Nephew and ACN Euro.

For further details of my professional life, please view my résumé page. My free time is predominantly spent 'meddling' with Linux PC's, reading books of various topics and updating web sites for UK based rock tribute bands such as www.thebryanadamsexperience.co.uk. And when the IT contract market is particularly quiet I can be found keeping myself busy installing multiroom audio video systems. Please visit my other site www.hometeck.co.uk for examples and info regarding multiroom systems.

But my primary passion is music: rock music. The audiophile search of sonic perfection never stands still so I'm always eager to try better hi-fi kit when funds allow. At home, in the car, wherever, I must have my daily fix of listening to some of my favourite rocking tunes. And my other interests?

Ferrari! Cars, motorbikes or guitars, they all have to scream! Ferrari is not just a car or a badge, it's passion, dreams, and the pinnacle of exotica. The great Schumacher era now seems a long time ago, but Ferrari will rise to victory again as they have done many times before.

And what about Newcastle United? Well, the sooner the Mike Ashley era is over the better.
