My introduction to IBM's midrange series of systems was back in 1990 as an IBM S/38 operator. Before the close of 1990 I was working on an AS/400 E60. Today, we have the 'black box' iSeries, and as the machine has evolved, so have my roles and experience. My most prominent and rewarding assignment to date, being participation in a telecommunications billing system installation project.

For further details of my professional life, please view my résumé page. This page is predominantly a brief insight into my personal life and interests. My free time is generally spent reading relevant IT books and news topics or updating web sites for UK based rock tribute bands such as www.thebryanadamsexperience.co.uk.

And that is where my prime passion lies: rock music. At home, in the car, wherever, I must have my daily fix of listening to some of my favourite rocking tunes. And my other interests?

Ferrari! Cars or guitars, they have to scream! Ferrari is not just a car or a badge, it's passion, dreams, and the pinnacle of exotica. Even without the great Schumacher, Ferrari clawed their way to victory in 2007. It was an exciting season with some great racing where the drivers title went down to the last race, but with all the espionage reports and point deductions it's a season best forgotten about.

And what about Newcastle United? New owner Mike Ashley has finally appointed his chosen manager. Welcome back the toon messiah, Kevin Keegan! Seconds out .... round 2.....
